While I'm not sure that the details of my crash are quite the same as the
originally reported bug, Steam's Half Life 1 is broken for me on Ubuntu 13.10
x64 wine 1.7.11.

It will open, but the second I push the arrow key to move, it crashes with: 
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x1db0e984 "?" wait timed out in
thread 0032, blocked by 0000, retrying (60 sec)

Should this be a separate bug report?

I found an older bug that is similar to this issue, but it has been Closed:
Abandoned and no new one opened (Unless the new one is this one).
