You need to install dotnet20. I am not sure about ie8 but I installed it via
winetricks. 


Also you need to set gdiplus as native.

I got a crash without setting gdiplus as native and a window that had only 2
buttons and nothing else. 

Weird behaviour. I already downloaded 50-60Mb, then it complains about the
connection, update button doesnt seem to do anything.

Restarting the client and the downloading started around 1.8mb.
