Hello folks,

the game works fine here.

As already said: It's advised to use 'Virtual Desktop' mode for old DDraw
games.

On startup, the game displays a selection dialog 'Multiple 3D cards available'
with the following options:

* display, DirectDraw HAL
* \\.\DISPLAY1, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX

My card is not recognized hence Wine's default GF8800.

Both options work.
Intro videos are shown and the main menu/in-game graphics works.

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.19-70-gd6a59f7
