I'm also encountering the same issue, tested under Ubuntu 14.04 with both Wine
1.6.2 and 1.7.19.

I'm currently trying to get a 1.5.29 built from Git to test against that
version, but that's proving to be slow going due to 64bit Ubuntu not having
32-bit development libraries
