I'm on a Mac with nVidia 750M GT 2GB DDR5 and it still crashes for me. Instead
of the game freezing while trying to go into the ship menu I get an error pop
up:

Brian and dk you guys said you used open source drivers in your linux box and
it worked. Could it be tat those drivers are not properly coded that it
could've been able to skip that bug?
