Unfortunately, I haven't sent the patch to mainline. Because I have no OS X
machine and I'm not 100% sure about that my patch resolves the issue on
Danmakufu.
If someone tries the patch and gives me positive feedback, I'll consider
sending the patch.

@Andrew:
Did you install FreeType development files such as header files? If not, could
you install them and build again?
