I tested this on nvidea driver 331.38 and nouveau, windows with the newest
nvidea driver and on windows with AMD Catalyst 14.4 Beta and all show the same
problems when you try to change your resolution or some other settings.

On ubuntu it only gives you 1 possible resolution 9/10 times and when you are
able to choose it doesn't make any changes at all when you click apply.
This goes the same on windows except that it does show all the resolution.

my recommendation would be to stick to changing the rebellion.user.setting
file.

note: even the 1.82 beta appears to have these problems
