Chromium no longer supports VC2005, it requires VC2013:

Build environment
Setting up the environment for Visual Studio 2013
Building with Visual Studio 2013 is the only supported configuration after
http://crrev.com/254340.
Building with Visual Studio 2013 Express is currently broken
(http://crbug.com/422794)

You must have Windows 7 x64 or later. x86 OSs are unsupported.

I think it's safe to mark this as abandoned.
