Please note that after installing Desura you'll need to workaround bug 37536
first.

Confirming, the following patch helps:

I decided for the "minimal" fix to avoid regressions when apps expect specific
flags not to be set (if there is any app like that?!). Will check if its
possible to write some tests for that.
