--- Comment #1 from Anastasius Focht <focht at gmx.net> ---
Hello folks,
you did almost every bug field wrong.
- Wine version ('wine --version')?
- additional prerequisites
- attachment of actual crash/backtrace missing
It seems the plain installer is broken/missing some dependencies.
--- snip ---
$ pwd
/home/focht/.wine/drive_c/MAP65
$ wine ./map65.exe
err:module:import_dll Library libusb0.dll (which is needed by
L"C:\\MAP65\\map65.exe") not found
err:module:import_dll Library palir-02.dll (which is needed by
L"C:\\MAP65\\map65.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for
L"C:\\MAP65\\map65.exe" failed, status c0000135
--- snip ---
The site http://www.physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/map65.html doesn't state
any additional packages/apps to be installed prior.
How is this supposed to work?
BTW ... there exists a native Linux port.
Why bother with the Windows version which binds against a native win32 libusb.

$ du -sh MAP65_250r4366.exe
15M MAP65_250r4366.exe
$ wine --version
