I had to apply some of the registry changes mentioned in the Corssover's Tips
and Tricks section
(https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=4155;tips=1#tip4760)
and managed to install the game successfully under Wine 1.7 on Ubuntu 14.04
x86-64.
