Wine throws an error with every action: Bowsing C, Configure, and Unistall, but
oddly not notepad. Some applications run fine but with an initial error message
such as the one attached. 
I had this also for version 1.6. I unistalled 1.6 and installed 1.72in the
hopes of fixing the issue.
My version 1.6 was bundeled with Linux Mint (Mate) 17.
