The issue is caused by the replacement font, and uninstalling this package
should be sufficient to get back to the old behaviour.

Just a side note: I explicitly warned the Fedora maintainers about including
our patches in their official versions, because I already feared that people
would report issues caused by the patches to upstream Wine ... I think I'll
open a bug report for that, so that they make more clear, that Fedora wine is
not identical to the packages from winehq.org...
