Which should never happen with a clean WINEPREFIX (Wine doesn't implement this
garbage -> bug 657).

Reusing/sharing existing prefixes automatically invalidates bug reports.

If the app installs MFC on its own in a clean WINEPREFIX and you get that error
it's another entry in the hall of shame:

Installed this on my PC running Windows Vista over two years ago without
incident.

Vista already has a newer MFC42 redist present through app installs or service
packs.
