I can't find what's wrong there. The application is not crashing if relay
logging is enabled. It's also not crashing if e.g. msvcrt_heap_free body is
copied into MSVCRT_operator_delete function. The application is also working if
msvcr71 is compiled with -O0 options.

Looks like we're using a register that the application assumes is not used or
like there's a compiler bug (probably there are some other possibilities).
