'Approach' starts now and loads/creates database files.

The diagnostic tools I used for inspecting compound document files also load
and decode the files properly now.

'Compound File Explorer (CFX)' -> http://coco.co.uk/developers/CFX.html

There is a small issue with decoding of the date fields (create/modify/access).
Some tools display them as '1/1/1601' others just report 'not recorded'.
