Something I've noticed:

It seems to me that this crash occurs only on slow internet connections. 2
Weeks ago my ISP reduced my internet connection to a 1mbit download speed (I
went over my monthly bandwidth limit) and since I could only download at
120kb/sec I have been getting this error a lot when updating Guild Wars 2
(restarted the launcher like 50 times with this error till it finished).

Now my internet is back to it's original speed of 30mbit (that's like
3.6mb/sec) and I'm downloading the game from fresh using same Wine version and
prefix as last time.

As you can see in the screenshot I have already downloaded over 8GB and haven't
had any crashes or other errors so far. This leads me to believe the crash is
dependent on how fast files are being downloaded.

I will update my post again when it finishes all the files.
