The installer on the website has been updated and doesn't display this problem
anymore. I have a copy of the old installer, which still suffers from bug
28601. With winetricks -q ie6 the GUI does appear, and with
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/7bed453481ef76068c6103d2d2b533f26c1c43a7,
the installer is downloaded and able to install.
