I tried to test for this bug with Wine 1.8-rc1 but was unable to do so.  The
old demos are unavailable.  The latest trial product
(DevExpressVCLProductTrial-15.1.6-20151105.exe) requires VS2010 or newer.  I
installed VS2010 (I couldn't get 2015 to install) but the DevExpress installer
doesn't find it and reports "Setup found no IDEs that are supported in Build
15.1.6 Trial Version".

I believe this or a similar bug affects the PCB CAD system Altium, at least
with the newest version 16.  Altium also uses DevExpress (…/drive_c/Program
Files/Altium/AD16/System/DotNet/DevExpress.14.2.7/).  I filed bug #39765 for
it.
