Your version of wine is terribly outdated (about two years old), please update
to a more recent version and try again.

Also make sure to pay attention to the hints at appdb, some parts of Steam
might need the Arial font (included in corefonts package) for example. Please
note that the store page currently does not work without applying patches or
using experimental/patched Wine versions.
