I would like to point out that I am currently working on a threadpool
implementation, see bug https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35192.

The code is available here:
https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/tree/master/patches/ntdll-Vista_Threadpool

The threadpool work API is already fully implemented, but might need some more
testing.
