As a person with NVidia hardware and a need to regularly run 'make test'
for the whole Wine tree including ddraw/d3d* directories I'd say that
Nouveau is very far from being adequate even with latest Linux kernels.
Disabling a bunch of directories just to avoid constant crashes inside
of Nouveau can't be adequate, not mentioning that running a moderate,
not d3d centric application with some translucency/layered windows makes
the whole system sluggish and forces the video card fun constantly rotate.
Nouveau may be adequate for a simple set of office applications, but
that's it.
Sorry for off-topic, but that's really a pain to work with such a PoS.
