I just finished testing this with 1.7.34 but had the same problem.  Test
results submitted (in the queue ATM).

Game requires 256 colors and I was able to start it with Xephyr.  It does not
work with VNC because it requires both 640x480 and 320x240 resolution while
vnc4server only supports a single resolution.

Opening screen is black.  Audio is present.  After a few seconds, the intro
video starts but only a green screen is shown (audio is present).  After the
video plays (can be skipped with left-click), another black screen is shown,
presumably the menu.  Pressing "q" quits.

Game videos use Cinepak.  When a game video is loaded with GSpot (in AppDB) it
indicates the Cinepak codec is not present (bug #38035).  This can be resolved
but doesn't fix the game.
