OK. There has been progress since the last time I tested this. Rather then
hanging forever iTunes now fails with error 0x80090318. According to Apple (see
link below) this error is due to 3rd party Winsock providers, so I suspect that
this means the reason it won't work on wine is due to wine's implementation of
winsock. I uploaded a newer console log, but it doesn't seem to provide many
hints.
