I just tested Notepad++ 6.7 on wine-1.7.34, kernel 3.17.8. I cannot reproduce
the crash.

Notepad++ has fixed several crashes in their code since 6.7 (some relating to
file IO).

Are you still able to experience the crash with Notepad++ 6.7.4 (latest as of
1/15/2015) or wine-1.7.34?
