Can you please retest this with Wine 1.7.32 or later? Patches 
45d530461bf29c953f5f4532cc0e917b4c4fc296 and friends and
f6dde7062413a1dfdd71acc92c5178ac66f3ade0 should improve the behavior of tabbing
out of fullscreen applications considerably.

You may find that it doesn't work on window managers forked from Metacity. I've
already reported this to Marco
(https://github.com/mate-desktop/marco/issues/166). Mutter seems to have lots
of issues with fullscreen apps already, I don't know where to start reporting
issues there.
