I myself, too, support the idea that users have the possibility to switch back
to the old stereo mode. What described in comment #0 in Skyrim I have similar
audio problem in Far Cry 2: during a conversation with a NPC if I turn my back
on him I can't hear his voice.
Some games don't play sound effects on my stereo speakers since 1.7.34
