I had some system problems and had to reinstall the OS; and freshly installed
wine from
http://media-opensource.blogspot.com/2015/06/wine-1745-released-install-on-ubuntu.html

I tried these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine1.7 winetricks

but ended up with version 1.7.44 as indicated by the wine --version command.  

$wine --version
wine-1.7.44

Is there a more current ppa available with an already compiled version of wine
1.7.45 available?
