Reopening. This bug is about Powerpoint Viewer, downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=13, not the full
version of Powerpoint. 

It is still present in wine-1.7.46-193-g8b566b1. With the Windows version set
to Vista or 7, the app now pops up an error message that says  "An error
occurred while opening the file dialog. Please save your presentations, exit,
and then restart Powerpoint." It works fine in XP mode.
