I had problems with the previous attempts at installing dlls.  I ended up
installing every dlls that seemed even remotely related.  It still didn't work
and got more errors; but I was having issues anyway and went ahead and
reinstalled the OS and then installed vcrun2005 for those dlls.  

It intalls ok after installing the vcrun2005 dlls from a fresh install and lets
me attempt to log in, but it hangs while "initializing" as described on the
status bar at the bottom.  

It seems similar to the effect caused by bad scripts on some messageboards.
