Wine 1.7.38 console output

MT5 is now at Build 1150 and has a slightly different procedure.

1. Install on a 64-bit machine (distributed MetaTester not available for
32-bit).
2. Log in (a free demo account can be created at the login page)
3. CTRL+R to bring up the strategy tester
4. Select Agents tab
5. Right-click on Local Network Farm
6. Select Add
7. Select scan network and enter details
8. Hit next

The result is the same.

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.38
$ sha1sum mt5setup.exe 
a308a5c48ecc2307d56b754cf7125505e5e0e747  mt5setup.exe
