Unfortunately that patch doesn't apply cleanly to current versions of wine.
I've tried to reset to wine-1.5.0, where it does apply and seems to fix the
problem. I guess someone will have to rebase it.
I'm not sure though whether it's worth trying to do (for me at least), as there
are some doubts about its quality/correctness expressed in the author's
message.
