This issue is actually a regression introduced by
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/44fbc018eda12bdee5c2c1e2e40dbdc6a81b27fd,
and has nothing to do with the issue for which the bug report was originally
opened. Just sent a patch to fix it:
http://source.winehq.org/patches/data/109519. Requires full "make clean" and
rebuild, otherwise the changes do not take effect.
