I downloaded autodesk 3dsmax via link provided here. 

I changed 2 files and 2 functions

MsiCreateTransformSummaryInfoW

and

MsiDatabaseGenerateTransformW


to 
return

ERROR_SUCCESS

And the installer goes a lot forward. But it still fails at the end. Not sure
about the reason

err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"StartServices" returned 1627
