Hello folks,

well, to be honest I didn't consider switching the default PIC build setting
due to aforementioned drawback (trashes shared page usage/COW) and GCC
problems/brokenness from the past (older GCC impl/code generation on x86_64 and
ARMv7 architectures).

It might be useful to provide a non-PIC build of Wine-Staging for users to
test/play with.
The problem would be to sort out/identify issues resulting from that change
from the usual bug/regression influx.

Ultimately it's up to AJ to switch the default setting ... and potentially the
distro package maintainers (overriding the default).
