I'm not very familiar with Wine's registration code, but in my experience the
DLLs to register themselves even in an existing wineprefix. Recreating the
wineprefix may fix this issue, but there is a different issue with Wine's
xaudio2 that can lead to crashes (Bug 39402).

Installing native xaudio2 using "winetricks xact" should work around this
issue.
