Your 1st problem
Wine build: wine-1.4.1

We are currently using 1.6.2 as stable that is very outdated since it hasnt
received backports from development version of wine. During around 2 years. 

The development version is at 1.8.rc1 that is on freezing state. A new stable
is coming soon. 

Then the second problem. You dont even mention the application or the version
you are using. 

In this case it's yahoo messenger, but what version? Most likely a duplicate of
some other bug.
