[Bug 21811] 3impact tech demo collection crashes on first demo

I don't encounter bugs 21790 and 21791. The last mentioned is defnitely fixed
for this application. I don't know how to tell if 21790 is fixed.

With pure wine I see blank screen and that's it.

with patch from 

https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/tree/master/patches/d3dx9_36-Optimize_Inplace

it goes forward. Pressing N still crashes but to me it looks totally different
issue.
