You need to install WMFDist11-WindowsXP-X86-ENU.exe first as mentioned in
comment 2 to get past that.

With that, it installs and the installed .exe starts up and prompts me to
register it, but registering it as a trial fails with a message about being
unable to communicate with the server. That's not a Wine bug--I get the same
message running it in an XP VM. Since the current version of this app is 13,
online registration for this old version may no longer be available.
