Hello folks,

I can't confirm this - the installer works fine (as expected).
As already said, you're using an outdated Wine version.

Unfortunately some distros still ship old Wine versions dubbed "stable" by
default.
In future please ensure your Wine has been upgraded to most recent version
before filing bug reports.
