On a hunch I tried the patch from bug 34122 (Civ5 crashes due to expecting
FindFirstFile/FindNextFile to be sorted) and not too surprisingly the list in
Steam is now sorted. I can't verify though if case matters, here I get 0-9,
then A-Z, and then a-z.
