1) Well...I'll be happy to update to the very latest version, when it will be
released. :-)
I'm on the latest Mint, which is Ununtu LTS based, so I'm using the latest
binaries for my OS, from the official PPA repository.

2) For the bug report, that I had to attach it beforehand...my fault! :-)
I linked it later.

If you want me to compile Wine from sources, please prompt me to an up to date
documantation, because the official one, is a bit outdated.
As for the a bit outdated binaries, you have to contact to the official
packager for Ubuntu based systems.
