Hello folks,

I can't confirm this, Minecraft 1.8.8 works fine here with Wine 1.7.53

Boostrapper installer:

https://launcher.mojang.com/download/Minecraft.exe (downloads all needed stuff,
including JRE)

Registered a new account, logged in -> play Minecraft (downloads more assets).

As Sebastian said: you provided almost no useful information - except for the
name of the game. Horrayy ... NOT.
We don't have a magic glass ball.

* exact version of the game/launcher downloaded (including link)
* Wine version used
* exact description what doesn't work and how to reproduce ("it crashes when I
click X")

(general issues, how to install/run games etc.)
