After using printf to extract the data the game wants to load and using the
"file" command I received the answer that the file is in Targa format. After
opening the file in an editor it indeed ends in TRUEVISION-XFILE.\0 so
following the code I see no mention to Targa/TGA and all I can understand is
that wine does not support this yet.

I can still be completely wrong about this but I'm already changing the subject
to catch more people attention.
