It looks like the demo can't be used to reproduce because it only has parts of
the first chapter. Is this still an issue in wine-git? If yes perhaps a
+msacm,+relay would help.

Recently a invalid memory write was fixed in msadp32, msacm32 asks different
dlls to check if they can play a file so if msadp32 was used in the process it
could be related to the crash.
