"The program" referred to 0CC-Famitracker. Sorry for being unclear. I have
attempted updating wine since 1.7 and the issue has persisted since then. It
has been made clear to me by the maintainer of the program that is conflicting
with Wine that it is not an issue in that program.

Is the infinite recursion present in the Wine code or the program code? (I did
not review the sample report so I am not sure what it tells.)
