Please don't change the subject without understanding the problem - it is as it
said, 'unimplemented'.

It does not always succeed - it succeeds on fonts with a valid signature, and
on fonts without signature. the authentic case and wine case, respectively. but
it does fail on fonts with an invalid signature. I happen to have one - it is
not difficult to make - just make any change to a font with a valid signature.
