wine-staging actually has a patch for this? 

I am testing and deleting cached files, so my prefix isnt fully empty, but I
haven't used any winetricks recipes other than dotnet40. 

I get a crash with wine 1.9.8-git and the application starts with same prefix
used with wine-staging 1.9.8.
