Thank you. I installed gstreamer1.0-libav:i386 and now instead of crashing, it
just doesn't play the video and prints the error messages in the attachment
"Errors printed when trying to play a video" to the console each time. Seeing
as one of the lines is "fixme:gstreamer:watch_bus typefind: Could not determine
type of stream.", I'm not sure I have actually managed to install the correct
gstreamer plugin.
