'Configure Wine' was provided by Ubuntu's package, not wine. If you have 1.8.5
installed, 'wine --version' should show that, rather than 1.6.2. You don't need
to find or configure it, just do 'wine foobar.exe' as you did with 1.6.2.

If you need winecfg, run 'wine winecfg'.

Please attach terminal output when running with 1.8.5 or preferably, 2.0-rc1.
